PEDS 4.0
The following are the enhancements in the 1998 version of PEDS.
 Can now create a pre-draft worksheet. Can sort by whole league or by team.
Added WAV file support. Can have any sound play at any pre-defined second in the timer, or can play a sound anytime you wish (like play an applause sound after a good pick).
Added the total count (and percentage of total) of players drafted for each position in the Postion Counts screen.
When you import the latest player stat projections, it will now display a message box indicating the date the projections where last updated.
You can now change the number of draft rounds AFTER the draft has started. In last years version, you had to start the draft over if you wanted to change the number of rounds.
Added an 'Auto-Populate Grid' option to help simplify the entering of a leagues scoring system.
You can now add or delete draft slots for any round, so each round can have a different number of draft slots (i.e. 8 draft slots for round one, 9 draft slots for round two). In last years version, each round had to have the same number of draft slots.
The demo verison can now be converted to the registered version by entering a registration key that will be given to you when your order is received.
The Player Stats screen was enhanced to make it easier to add or change a player stats.
You can now indicate that an owner is computer-controlled, so that during a draft, a pick will automatically be made for each computer-controlled owner. Even better, you can set all owners to computer-controlled, so you can run a mock draft in just a few minutes and without requiring any user response.
You can now rename a fantasy team.
You can now specify, for each owner, what round the owner will first draft a player at each position. This will improve the computer's recommended pick.
For every report, you are now able to specify whether the report should be displayed in a preview window, sent to the printer, or exported. This means you do not have to view the report in the preview window before you print it or export it.
For leagues that do not have limits on the number of players you can draft at each position, there is now the ability to enter the number of players at each position you think each owner will draft. This will improve the recommended pick option.
We have added a new export option called 'plain-text HTML'. This will create very small HTML files that will have exact column alignment. This is an improvement over the other HTML export options, in that those created large files and did not always have perfect column alignments.
Created a Depth Chart report.
You have the option of hearing random sound effects after each draft pick.
You can now choose a league database to automatically load when you start PEDS.
Created a field for a player's dollar value and created a Dollar Report. This will show each players fantasy points per dollar to show you which players are the best bargains in leagues/contests that use dollar values for players.
Many other minor improvements.
