PEDS 2008 is available June 1st
The following PEDS installation files will install the demo version of PEDS. If you have
already installed the demo, you do not need to download these files.
To convert the demo version to the registered version, choose the "Enter Reg #" button on the main menu of PEDS
and enter the registration number that you were given.
There are two choices for downloading PEDS:
OPTION 1
To download one large installation file, choose this option:

Download Instructions
Perform the following steps to download PEDS:
- Left-click on the desired link above to begin the file transfer, or
Right-click on the link and choose "Save Link As..." (for Netscape browsers) or "Save Target As..." (for MS Explorer browsers) from the pop-up menu that appears.
- Do not pick an application for this file if your web browser gives you the option.
- Choose to save the file in the subdirectory you typically use for file downloads.
- The file downloaded is the setup program for PEDS and is called pedsdemo.exe. To begin installation, run the file called pedsdemo.exe.
- If the setup program fails during the installation, please verify that the size of the file on your PC is what is listed on this page. If it is not this size, either the
wrong format (i.e. HTML) was used to download the file, or the download did not complete successfully. Please download the software
again. If you continue to have problems, send an e-mail to support@footballsoftware.com.
OPTION 2
For the installation file split into six smaller files, download all of the following:
PEDS 2007 Disk 1 (1.4MB)
PEDS 2007 Disk 2 (1.4MB)
PEDS 2007 Disk 3 (1.4MB)
PEDS 2007 Disk 4 (1.4MB)
PEDS 2007 Disk 5 (1.4MB)
PEDS 2007 Disk 6 (1.4MB)
PEDS 2007 Disk 7 (0.2MB)
Download Instructions
Perform the following steps for each of the above six links to download PEDS:
- Left-click on the desired link above to begin the file transfer, or
Right-click on the link and choose "Save Link As..." (for Netscape browsers) or "Save Target As..." (for MS Explorer browsers) from the pop-up menu that appears.
- Do not pick an application for this file if your web browser gives you the option.
- Choose to save the files in the subdirectory you typically use for file downloads.
- The files downloaded are part of the setup program for PEDS. The downloaded files will be called setup.exe, setup.w02, setup.w03, setup.w04, setup.w05, setup.w06, and setup.w07. To begin installation, run the file called setup.exe.

This option can be used if you have trouble downloading large files.
This option is also useful if you want to create installation disks that
can be used to install PEDS on another computer, or for backup purposes.
You should copy setup.exe to a disk and
label the disk DISK 1. Then copy setup.w02 to a disk and label
the disk DISK 2. Then copy setup.w03 to a disk and label
the disk DISK 3, etc. Run setup.exe on DISK 1 to start the installation.

PEDS User Manual:
The help file that comes with PEDS contains the same information that is in the user manual. However, if you would like a printed copy of the manual,
you can download this Portable Document Format (PDF) format and print it.
To view this document in PDF format you need to use the Acrobat Reader which allows anyone to view, navigate, and print documents in the Adobe® Portable Document Format.
If you do not already have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, click on the "Get Adobe Reader" icon below.

PEDS Program Updates:
None Available.
PEDS Player Database Updates:
Visit here everyday to get the latest stat projections (updated almost daily at 8:00am EST).
NOTE: PEDS can automatically download the player database updates, so you only need
to download the updates from this page if you have trouble with
PEDS doing it automatically.
Daily Update (0.1MB)
Perform the following steps to import the stat projections:
- Click on the above link to begin the file transfer.
- Do not pick an application for this file if your web browser gives you the option.
- Choose to save the file in the subdirectory you typically use for file downloads.
- Run the downloaded file. It will create a database with the name pedsupd.pdu.
- Run PEDS and choose the league database that you wish to apply the latest rosters moves and projections to.
- From the main menu, choose "Statistics"
- Choose "Update Stat Projections", choose the "Local" option, and then select the file pedsupd.pdu, and click the Select button. The stats will then be updated.
- If you have multiple league databases that you wish to update, repeat this procedure for each one.
