Fantasy Commissioner 4.0
The following are the enhancements in the 1998 version of Fantasy Commissioner and Fantasy Coach.
 HUGE ENHANCEMENT: Created a 'Batch Reporting' option that will allow you to print, e-mail, or upload to a web site all of the reports. Just choose the reports (and the report options), enter the info about who to e-mail it to or what web site to upload it to, press a button, and it will generate all of the chosen reports and print/e-mail/upload them without any user intervention. You can save all of the settings, and you can have multiple saved settings.
The demo verison can now be converted to the registered version by entering a registration key that will be given to you when your order is received.
When you import the weekly stats, it will now display a message box indicating the week you imported and will display any needed info (upgrade notices, common questions, etc).
For every report, you are now able to specify whether the report should be displayed in a preview window, sent to the printer, or exported. This means you do not have to view the report in the preview window before you print it or export it. You can also specify the number of copies to be printed.
We have added a new export option called 'plain-text HTML'. This will create very small HTML files that will have exact column alignment. This is an improvement over the other HTML export options, in that those created large files and did not always have perfect column alignments.
If you enter fantasy points using the Additional Points screen, they will not be overwritten when importing the weekly stats. They were overwritten in last years version.
When importing the rosters from PEDS, the owner/fantasy team info will not be overwritten if that fantasy team has already been setup in Fantasy Commissioner.
You can now automatically create fantasy schedules using schedule templates that are division-weighted.
Fantasy Commissioner can now import information (fantasy team info, scoring system, etc.) from a league database created using last year's version of Fantasy Commissioner.
You can now choose a league database to automatically load when you start Fantasy Commissioner.
There is now a Test button on the fantasy scoring system screen that allows you to test your scoring system to make sure you entered it correctly.
Made many improvements to the way player/money transactions work.
Added a new position - Special Teams (ST).
Now have the option to create test stats for the 1998 season so you can practice using the software. The test stats for 1998 are the actual stats for all 17 weeks from 97. There is also a new Reset League option to remove the records that where created while you where practicing with the software.
The Update Fantasy Points option will now automatically run after importing the weekly stats.
Now can charge a fee to put a player on IR (Injured-Reserve), or to active him. Made it easier to keep a player on IR.
Added an option to allow combination yards scoring to only give points when a player has a stat in each category.
Added a way to specify the way teams are ranked in the Fantasy Standings report. You can choose from Overall Record, Total Points, Divisional Record, or Head-to-Head Record.
Will now track the salary for each player as well as a team salary cap.
Many other minor improvements.
